Day 06 - Favourite actor/actress
(Ah here, only a week into this thing and I’m already behind? Not on, self.)
I actually don’t have a favourite actor/actress; it’s too hard to choose. But for the sake of this meme thing, I’ll pick RDJ. Because he is like, perfection personified. And he makes dorky shit look awesome. And he’s Harry Lockhart. And Tony Stark. And he was the only one who could do a believable Chaplin. And he has the ability to break my heart and make me die laughing, so yeah.

Day 02 - A film that is under-rated
I dunno you guys, I think Zodiac is terribly under-rated. Like, I saw a couple of trailers for it when it came out and then it just… disappeared. No awards or anything. And compared to how much attention Fincher’s other films get, it just seems like it was completely ignored. Which is a shame, because this is definitely one of his best films.

82nd Annual Academy Awards
Best Original Screenplay presented by Tina Fey and Robert Downey Jr.Tina: Great movies begin with great writing.
RDJ: What does an actor look for in a script? Specificity, emotional honesty, catharsis.
Tina: And what does a writer look for in an actor? Memorizing. Not paraphrasing. Fear of ad-libbing.
RDJ: Actors want scripts with social relevance; warm weather locations; phone call scenes that can be shot separately from that insane actress that I hate; and long, dense columns of uninterrupted monologue.Turning the page and, for instance, seeing the phrase “Tony Stark continued”.
Tina: And we writers dream of a future where actors are mostly computer-generated and their performances can be adjusted, by us, on a laptop, alone.
RDJ: It’s a collaboration. A collaboration between handsome, gifted people and sickly, little mole people.
Tina: It’s really not. You should just say whatever we type.
RDJ: You know what, I should, you should—
Tina: Just say—say that.
RDJ: Ah…here are the nominees for best original screenplay.
Tina: Thank you.

AGGGH I am so pissed they cut this scene! It better be on the DVD and not ignored completely (Jon Favreau, I am looking at you and your cruel scene-deleting ways. I saw that picture of the Tony/Pepper kiss! I know it exists! So why isn’t it on the DVD ugh I hate you.)
